I’m thrilled that I’m in print and online in national paper, the Church Times this week. Drawing on the results of my social media survey on disabled people’s attitudes to their disability, I’m talking about why some would want to remain disabled in heaven. Already it’s causing quite the stir, and I’ve been touched by how many people have been sharing it on social media – it’s the most popular Church Times article of the week and the third most popular this month.

This is interesting. One of the things I am most looking forward to when I get to heaven is having a new body and being able to dance before the Lord!! So my answer is no I most definitely do not want to remain disabled in heaven I am 71 and was disabled by polio at the age of 4. Since then I have always worn calipers and boots. I have always felt ugly and have not been able to do many of the things I want including dancing and doing country walks etc.
What about when disability ends your calling?
