Exciting news!
I have been interviewed as part of a half-hour program presented by John McCarthy (yes, the John McCarthy who was a journalist in the Lebanon hostage crisis) on being ‘In the world, but not of the world’, exploring different types of people who have been cut off from the world in some way, and it will be broadcast to the nation on Radio 4 on Sunday 15th June.
The bad news is that it is at 06:05 on a Sunday morning, which may not be to everyone’s taste. Fear not, though, if you are a late owl – it is repeated at 23:30 on Sunday 15th June. Do tune in if you can – it should be a fascinating program.

Ah, the Other Birmingham. (The better Birmingham, perhaps? There’s not an awful lot going for the UK version…!)
