“Love is not in the grand speeches, it is cultivated in the everyday—seeing and noticing the small things. These are the love letters that count, the ones that are written and rewritten every day.”
I’m at the Mudroom, talking about my secret love letters to my husband. Won’t you come with me?
So beautiful and poetic. Thank-you for sharing.
Thanks, Heather – I really appreciate it 🙂
I can only echo the comments of your other contacts Tanya, in that your writing is truly beautiful.
This is a subject that affects me. My wife has suffered with chronic illness since 1978. Love for me has been helping her clear up mess in the middle of the night. Taking on more work because she is exhausted much of the time. Most of all, understanding her difficulties and being supportive at all times.
In spite of her poor physical health, she supported me throughout my whole 40 year battle with clinical depression.
I firmly believe that instead of corroding our relationship, these difficulties have made our love for one another much stronger than it would have been if we had not been faced with these challenges.
John
I love hearing your love story. Thank you, John.
