Not right now

I was going to write a (slightly overdue) supercool Blogoversary post. But I can’t do that right now.

At some point I shall probably write about my experience this week of being rushed to A and E (Emergency Room) in a cool ambulance while they tried to work out if I was having a heart attack or pulmonary embolism (thankfully neither). But not right now.

In the near future I shall be interviewing the wonderful Jeff Goins on what he thinks of suffering. Exciting! And soon! But not right now.

My life is being done very messily at the moment as I deal with what looks like a bad ME relapse. Things are getting delayed and put on hold indefinitely. I am stuck in the middle of a giant pause. There is both frustration and freedom in saying these things will happen, but not right now.

Right now, I’m all about watching funny videos. Won’t you join me?

With thanks to my friend Rachel Lane at Innovista for the link.

And if you’ve seen a funny (reasonably clean!) video on YouTube recently, feel free to link in the comments below.

Tanya, I am really sorry to hear you are feeling the need to put your life on hold more than usual due to the M.E symptoms increasing. It sucks, doesn’t it? Sharing your struggle helps us to remember you in prayer and look forward to the time when your health improves. Fully sympathise as my week has been awful too.
Laughter is great medicine as you wait. Thanks for the animal video. It is really good! Rest up well, my sweet friend, and know that you are far from forgotten. Love and prayers. :)xx

Tanya, I’m sorry your ME has you saying “not right now” to the things you enjoy. But your example of taking care of yourself has helped me this last week when I’ve been sick. I told myself, “Tanya rests. Let yourself rest too.” Letting go of being Superwoman really helped. Thank you for your example. Praying for you, friend!

Pants to that 🙁 This has been round the block before but has been a while since I’ve looked at it…

Just to make clear the pants refer to the unpleasant things.. Praying you will all know God in the messiness

So sorry to hear you are in a relapse. But looking forward to all your “not right nows”! The video was hysterical. Especially the monkey doing ‘dental work’. I have an appointment with my dentist coming up…and I’ll really try not to talk while he has his hands in my mouth. I’ll also freshen my breath beforehand! (Why do dentists always ask questions when they have their hands in your mouth???)
And the bird tribute to Michael Jackson cracked me up!
Take very good care of you, Tanya.
