I’ve heard (and had) conversations like this:
“What type are you?”
“Four.”
“Me too! Fours are the best!”And that’s it. Once we have the label, we’re satisfied, and we don’t need to discover more. We’ve categorised them in our head.
We use labels to shut people up and shut conversation down, but the enneagram should do the opposite. The enneagram should start conversations, not end them.
I’m explaining the enneagram and raising all sorts of difficult questions about it, including the classic controversial one – which enneagram type was Jesus?
I’d love it if you could come over with me with just one click to The Mudroom – read the rest here.
Highest possible functioning Type 8. He had to stand up to unrelenting presser, challaged the wickedness around him and of course the greatest of all leaders.
????
Of course Jesus was/is a 2. 2’s are simply wonderful. I am a 2. 🙂
HA! For sure…
