When I wrote about Ravi Zacharias and the ways that church leaders respond to sexual abusers, often defending them, I had no idea that it would blow up so much. It obviously hit and nerve, and I got lots of comments, often privately, from church leaders who said that they had never seen it in that way before, but they would be using other books and sources from now on (and not just Zacharias’ work, but others, for example, Jean Vanier).
