Announcement – Those Who Wait and Malcolm Down Publishing

I have some very exciting book-related news.

I love the control and freedom of self-publishing through Amazon as it means that you can offer ebooks and audiobooks, which not all publishers offer. However, there’s one significant disadvantage: it’s virtually impossible to get books into bookstores.

So many of you were asking about how you could get your copy from your local Christian bookshop, or order multiple copies for a conference bookstall. This is tricky to do from Amazon alone, and sale or return is virtually impossible for most self-publishers.

That’s when I got connected with Malcolm Down. Malcolm Down Publishing is a traditional independent Christian publisher in the UK. Malcolm comes with two decades of experience in publishing, and the company has just won Small Publisher of the Year at the UK’s CRT awards.

Long story short: I sent him my book; he loved it, and on Friday I signed my first publishing contract! It must be the quickest deal in publishing history, and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it, but we’re able to forge ahead with the release date as planned.

I’m overjoyed to officially announce that I’m partnering with Malcolm Down Publishing, who will publish Those Who Wait on Monday 16th October 2017.

What this means for you:

You can now go to your favourite Christian book supplier or major bookstore and pre-order your print copy, which will be with you as soon as is humanly possible after the 16th October. You can also ask them about discounts for bulk orders (20+).

Alternatively, on Monday 16th October, you can order your paperback from Amazon (preorder not available). There will also be an ebook (on the day of release) and audiobook (forthcoming).

The RRP is £9.99/ $13.99, but Amazon will be holding a very special introductory offer for the first ten days of release. Watch this space for more details of offers for the first week of sales, and sign up for my newsletter for exclusive offers.
