The Surprising Power of Kindness – LICC

“During the silences of suffering, kindness speaks louder than ever.”

I recently watched BBC’s Mum on iplayer – one of those programs that starts unassumingly, but each episode is better and better. In the end, I gobbled up all three series in two weeks, watching the finale with happy tears. I can thoroughly recommend doing likewise.
I’ve written a piece for the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity today on how this program teaches us about kindness, and what it means to have a kind God. Even if you haven’t seen the series, we all need these reminders – especially if your life has been recently tinged with grief. Do hop across with me to read it – The Surprising Power of Kindness.

Really brilliant and sensitive piece, Tanya. I love the series of Mum and think you have tackled this subject With sensitivity and skill. It is good to be reminded that God is kind and laughs with us.
